Penile Enlargement Procedures: Overview and Options

Penile enhancement options

Are you considering male penile enlargement?

Men from all backgrounds are researching and seeking out these procedures to enhance their self-esteem and sexual satisfaction.

At the Perito Clinic, we take patient safety and satisfaction seriously, that’s why we only perform the safest method for penile enlargement surgery with the highest patient satisfaction, UroFill® HA injections.

Poor outcomes can occur if you do not receive your treatment from a licensed, certified specialist in the aesthetic procedure you choose.

Whether it’s due to aesthetic issues, a desire to improve sexual performance, or to fulfill the wish to “get bigger,” the motivations are both varied and deeply personal. Although the vast majority of men fit within the normal range when measuring penis size, many men feel better knowing they are better endowed.

At The Perito Clinic in Miami, Florida, we specialize in the safest, most well-studied cosmetic enhancements, including male penile girth enlargement surgery.

Led by Dr. Paul Perito, a pioneer in girth enhancement and the inventor of the UroFill® procedure, our clinic is dedicated to providing safe and effective solutions for men in Miami and across the country who want to be the best versions of themselves.

Types of Penile Enlargement Procedures

Male penile enlargement aims to increase the length or girth of the penis, varying between surgical and non-surgical methods. With modern techniques and experienced professionals, penile enlargement surgery can be both safe and successful.

The choice between surgical and non-surgical options depends on individual goals, health status, and preferences. A thorough consultation with a highly experienced specialist is crucial to determine the most suitable approach for the patient.

Non-Surgical Methods for Penile Enlargement

Hyaluronic Acid Injections

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural substance found throughout the human body. It’s commonly used as a safe filler used by dermatologists in skin enhancement and lip enhancement. It is now being used successfully in the male penis by pioneers like The Perito Clinic in Miami and Elite Enhancement of East Texas.

HA injections have revolutionized girth enhancement via injecting HA into the penis shaft. This minimally invasive procedure can be performed in a clinic with local anesthesia and offers immediate and noticeable results.

At Perito Clinic, we offer the UroFill® procedure, the leading method of penile girth enhancement surgery using hyaluronic acid injections. Dr. Paul Perito, a leading expert in this field, has developed this procedure to provide safe and effective results with minimal downtime.

Penuma

The Penuma procedure is a surgical option for penile enhancement that involves the insertion of a silicone implant under the skin of the penis to increase its girth. While it can offer a permanent increase in penile size, the procedure is invasive, requires a longer recovery time, and carries several risks and complications such as severe swelling (edema), the development of lumps beneath the skin, penile curvature or other deformities that may impair sexual function, infections, wounds that don’t heal properly, and extensive scarring.

Although it exists as an option, men considering penile enhancement should weigh the potential complications and explore better-researched and less invasive alternatives.

Not Recommended

PMMA Procedure

The PMMA girth procedure inserts small pellets of synthetic filler (polymethylmethacrylate) into the penile shaft to increase girth. The body then forms collagen around these microspheres, resulting in a permanent increase in penile size.

While PMMA offers a non-surgical alternative to implants, it carries potential risks, such as lumps, uneven results, or tissue damage. The procedure is also difficult to reverse. Men interested in penile enhancement should carefully consider these factors and may prefer less invasive, more reversible options like hyaluronic acid injections, such as the UroFill® technique.

Not Recommended

Silicone Injections: LIS

LIS (Liquid Injectable Silicone) injections have been used for penile enhancement, but medical professionals do not generally recommend them. These injections can lead to significant complications, including swelling, penile distortion, and implant migration. Men seeking penile enhancement should explore safer, more reliable options that offer a lower risk of complications and more predictable outcomes.

Not Recommended

Penis Pumps

Penis vacuum pumps are devices that are placed around the penis shaft to create an actual ‘vacuum’ around the penis, drawing blood into it and temporarily increasing its size. They are often used as a temporary solution and are relatively safe when used correctly. This is not a permanent solution to size but can be a tool for penile rehabilitation.

Traction Devices

Traction devices, also known as penile extenders, use mechanical traction to stretch the penis over time. These devices require consistent use over several months to achieve noticeable results and are known to be painful, with nerve damage as a potential side effect.

Not Recommended

Soundwave Therapy

Soundwave therapy – high-frequency ultrasound – is a non-invasive therapy that uses high-frequency sound waves to improve blood flow to the penis. This technique stimulates the growth of new blood vessels and enhances existing ones, promoting better erectile function and potentially increasing penile size. The procedure is painless, requires no downtime, and offers long-lasting results with regular treatment sessions. Improvement in erection strength has been reported but actual size increases are not dramatic. Conversely, overuse of this treatment can trigger growth factors in the penis which can lead to Peyronie’s disease-like curves and deformities. Make sure you consult with your urologist before any of these treatments.
This therapy can work in certain cases, especially if performed by non-medical professionals.

Use Caution

The P-Shot ( Platelet-Rich Plasma Injections )

The P-Shot, (aka Priapus or Platelet Rich Plasma shot), is a procedure that involves injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from the patient’s own blood into the penis. PRP is rich in growth factors that stimulate tissue regeneration and increase blood flow. In theory, this method can enhance both the size (minimally) and sensitivity of the penis, which may lead to improved sexual performance but there have been no studies to prove this. The P-Shot is minimally invasive, with quick recovery, providing a slight girth enhancement of less than ½ an inch.

Use Caution

Surgical Methods for Penile Enlargement

Penile Implants: Penile implants involve inserting prosthetic devices into the penis. There are various types of implants, including inflatable and semi-rigid ones. This procedure is performed for medical reasons, such as to restore functionality after prostate surgery or as an ED solution. While it can help restore some lost length due to ED and penile atrophy, it’s not considered a cosmetic solution for girth or length enhancement.

Dr. Perito RECOMMENDS This Technique to stop penile atrophy leading to a loss of length and girth!

Penis Fat Grafting

This procedure involves dermal grafts and fat transfer using the patient’s own tissue to enhance penis girth. Fat is harvested from another part of the body such as the thigh, stomach or buttocks, purified and injected into the penis. This method can provide significant girth enhancement, but it may require multiple sessions and carries risks like fat reabsorption and asymmetry.

Not Recommended

Silicon Sleeve

The silicone sleeve procedure is a type of penile surgery where a soft silicone sheath is inserted around the penis to enhance girth.

While it may seem like a less invasive option compared to larger implants like Penuma, it still carries significant risks, including infection, shifting or movement of the sleeve, long-term discomfort, and other potential complications.

Not Recommended

Suspensory Ligament Release for Expanding Length

This procedure cuts the suspensory ligament of the penis, which allows more of it to hang outside the body and appear longer. While it can increase length, it doesn’t impact girth. It comes with benefits such as a noticeable increase in flaccid length, but there are also risks like potential instability of the penis, unsightly scarring and regrowth of the ligament.
