Preparation: The Night Before
You can go about your day as you would normally before your girth enhancement procedure. You do not have to fast. Just be sure to shower before your treatment because you will not be able to shower for up to 24 hours afterwards.
Day of Girth Procedure
1. Arrival: Arrive at our men’s health and girth enhancement center in Miami at the scheduled appointment time. Be sure to have someone accompany you if necessary, as you may not be able to drive immediately following the procedure.
2. Paperwork: Upon arrival, you’ll be asked to fill out brief paperwork. This ensures we have all necessary information about your medical history and current health status.
3. Consultation: Meet with renowned urologist Dr. Perito, Dr. Suarez-Sarmiento or one of our other highly trained providers to discuss your treatment in detail. This is an opportunity to ask any questions and address any concerns you may have. 4. Preparation: Once you’re ready, the area will be cleansed and prepared for the enlargement procedure. You may be given a local anesthetic to minimize discomfort during the girth injections. Your physician may measure your penis for before and after comparisons.
5. Injection Process: The urologist will inject hyaluronic acid (HA) into the penile tissue using 1.2 ML syringes. The number of syringes used depends on the desired outcome, with a minimum of 4-6 units typically recommended for initial treatment.
6. Monitoring: Throughout the process, your urologist will monitor your comfort level and make adjustments as needed to ensure a smooth experience.
7. Post-Procedure Care: After the girth injections are complete, you’ll be given instructions on post-treatment care. This may include avoiding strenuous activity, refraining from sexual activity for a specified period*, and taking any prescribed medications to aid in recovery. In addition, Arnica cream works well for potential bruising following the procedure.
* Patients must refrain from sex for at least 72 hours after the procedure at the provider’s discretion.
8. Follow-Up: Schedule a follow-up appointment to monitor your progress and discuss any additional treatments or concerns. Depending on your goals, multiple sessions may be recommended to achieve the desired result. Most patients become satisfied with about 20 to 30 units injected over time for maximum size enhancement.
9. Recovery: Allow yourself time to rest and recover following the injections. While some mild discomfort or swelling may occur initially, this should subside within a few days, and you can resume normal activities as directed by your urologist.
